With an array of live music venues to choose from in Valencia, ’24/7 Valencia’ has compiled a list of all of the musical events on offer this week. From small gigs to big DJ sets, there is a large variety of music to choose from.
At Teatre Talia de Valencia, the performance art theatre, we have Juan Cortes and Panorama Flamenco with his latest work ‘Vida’. Cortes is playing tonight at 20:00h, and offers his audiences some lively flamenco piano vibes.
If you’re after a party this weekend, the Marina Beach Club won’t disappoint. The iconic beach club are offering a DJ set this Friday night, with Roger Sanchez and Todd Terry set to hit the stage. They will be playing from 23:30h and will carry on late throughout the night, celebrating an anniversary of hits. This is not one to miss for nightlife lovers.
For those looking for something a bit more chilled, Jimmy Glass Jazz Bar feature Bareket’s “Sahar” tomorrow night. His latest record also features a spectacular New York quartet, offering saxophone, piano and drums. So, get to the bar for 20:30h or 22:30h for what is set to be a night of jazzy sounds.
The Matisse Club has a few events to choose from this week. The OM Trio will be playing there this Thursday from 21:00h as part of the Brahmand Music Festival. This Saturday, there are two artists to choose from – Jota Hidalgo from 18:00h, and Luis Prado from 22:30h. Jota Hidalgo will be taking the soundtrack to the movie ‘The young Sherlock of Buster Keaton’ and placing it on the keyboard.
The Loco Club, taking us back to some more traditional live music gigs, offers the James Hunter Six, Robert Jon & the Wreck, The Speedways, Garrett T Capps and more this week for an endless line up of musical guests. Its musical line up of the week will conclude with Fas + Black Storm, and Fussion Band this weekend. More details can be found on their website.
16 Toneladas combines blues and rock n roll with their line up this week. From Chicago Blues to the Steepwater band, this venue never fails to provide those rock ‘n’ roll tunes!
