O-B Rooftop by Orobianco, the best sunset bar on the Costa Blanca is back! Re-opening for the summer season on the 1st of May, Orobianco’s rooftop terrace showcases one of the most breath-taking views of the Mediterranean.
Open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 18:00h to 01:00h, this gorgeous sunset bar overlooking the Peñón de Ifach will offer casual dining in the afternoon and evening, focused on tapas and cocktails. Despite its more laid-back approach to dining, the O-B rooftop bar will continue to maintain the incredible quality standards that Italian haute-cuisine restaurant, Orobianco, just down on the ground floor, has shown the Calpe coast this year. Having been awarded a Michelin Star as well as a Sol Repsol, Orobianco has had an incredible year, ranking 37th in list of top 50 Best Italian Restaurants outside of Italy. Taking the culinary highlights of this renowned restaurant and rendering it more relaxed – a concept created by Orobianco’s own head chef, Andrea Drago, and considered the restaurant’s most ‘informal concept’ – the most romantic rooftop on the Costa Blanca will be simple and affordable, but nevertheless excellent.
The dishes offered at the rooftop terrace range from Italian-style aperitifs, to delicious main courses, through to cocktails, desserts and coffees. The fresh, Mediterranean flavours will be both intense and refreshing, with the menu offering a Peruvian classic, sea bass with a tomato ceviche, in addition to beef tartare with crispy bread crumbs and anchovy sauce, as well as a delicious Italian cheeseboard, and much more – the perfect tastes of summer.
In addition to this incredible gastronomical delight, in order to fulfil its promise of creating magical moments through the long summer evenings, O-B Rooftop bar will begin an extensive programme of activities, helping to round off the dining experience. This follows on from Orobianco’s recent introduction of different private celebrations within the framework of their restaurant including weddings and corporate parties. From May through to September, the calendar of activities are for all kinds of audiences to enjoy, and include live music, painting, special tastings, and events, surrounded by beautiful music and a great atmosphere. It’s the perfect way to share the long summer evening with friends or your partner!
