After launching its 2026 lineup with RIDE, Visor Fest now expands its firmament with three new major additions: Ocean Colour Scene, New Model Army, and The Wannadies. In this way, Valencia once again becomes a meeting point for those who understand music as more than just a memory. Visor Fest confirms its return in 2026, on September 25th and 26th, and continues to unveil the names that will shape its sonic universe, a lineup designed to enjoy songs that still resonate today and artists who maintain their ability to move us.

Ocean Colour Scene: 30 Years of Moseley Shoals

British band ‘Ocean Colour Scene’ arrives at Visor Fest with a very special concert to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their iconic album Moseley Shoals, the record that definitively catapulted them to fame at the height of Britpop and made them one of the essential bands of their generation. On stage will be three of the band’s original members: Simon Fowler (vocals), Steve Cradock (guitar), and Oscar Harrison (drums). Cradock is also a key figure in contemporary British rock: Paul Weller’s regular guitarist since the late nineties, his sound has been a fundamental part of the former Jam frontman’s solo career.

Released in 1996, Moseley Shoals reached number two on the UK charts, was certified triple platinum, and remained on the charts for 92 weeks thanks to timeless anthems like “The Riverboat Song,” “You’ve Got It Bad,” “The Day We Caught the Train,” and “The Circle.” That same summer, Oasis invited them to join them for their legendary Knebworth concert in front of 125,000 people, a moment that definitively cemented their status as one of the biggest bands of the time. Their manager, Alan McGee, a key figure in Britpop who discovered and launched the careers of Oasis and Primal Scream, emphasized the significance of this commemorative tour: “Ocean Colour Scene released Moseley Shoals at the epicentere of an incredible moment for music: 1996. When I started working with them four years ago, we set out to celebrate their unique sound and bring it back to the mainstream. This tour is the most important they’ve done in 30 years and places them where they belong: as one of the great bands of their generation.”

In Valencia, in addition to performing the key moments from Moseley Shoals, Ocean Colour Scene will offer a journey through their entire career, including classics like “Hundred Mile High City,” “Travellers Tune,” “Better Day,” and “Profit in Peace,” in a format designed to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace and with the intensity that defines Visor Fest.

New Model Army: A Special Connection with Valencia

The VISOR FEST 2026 lineup includes one of the most respected bands in British rock, and especially a group that maintains a privileged relationship with the Valencian public: New Model Army. Since their formation in Bradford (UK) in the early eighties, the band led by Justin Sullivan has forged a unique path, independent of trends, blending post-punk electricity, folk influences, and emotionally charged lyrics that have earned them almost unwavering loyalty among their fans.

For over four decades, ‘New Model Army’ has evolved without losing its character, maintaining a recognizable artistic identity from the first chord and establishing themselves as an imposing live act, capable of transforming each concert into an intense and almost ritualistic experience.

In 2024, they released their 16th studio album, Unbroken, a work recorded with the legendary mixer Tchad Blake that captures the essence of their sound with a vigorous blend of roots and contemporary power.

Their appearance at Visor Fest will be a very special celebration for a city that has always welcomed them with great devotion.

You & Me and… The Wannadies: Timeless Pop from Sweden

From Skellefteå, in northern Sweden, ‘The Wannadies’ have spent decades proving that power pop can be both infectious and timeless. Formed in 1988, they garnered attention in the Nordic countries with “My Hometown,” but it was with “You & Me Song,” included on their third album, Be a Girl, that they conquered the world.

The song became a global phenomenon after appearing in the film Romeo & Juliet and the iconic British series Coronation Street, ushering in a golden age of international tours and luminous hits like “Hit” and “Might Be Stars.”

After a long hiatus that began in 2003, the band returned in 2022 with renewed energy, reaffirming their place as true artisans of guitar-driven pop. Their inclusion in Visor Fest adds the perfect dose of mellow euphoria.
