Orobianco, the renowned Italian restaurant in Calpe, is celebrating its 10th anniversary which will be celebrated on June 17th. The restaurant further solidifies its place as Spain’s premier destination for Italian cuisine, as it adds onto its already impressive list of accolades. Under the leadership of Chef Andrea Drago and gastronomic director Pablo Casagrande, the restaurant has received national and international attention.
Orobianco was recently listed 29th in the 50 Top Italy 2025, adding to its Michelin star, awarded in 2023, and the Sol Repsol, achieved in 2024. Orobianco has perfected the craft of blending traditional Italian cuisine while adding a modern take, offering a unique dining experience, combined with the location’s breathtaking views of the Mediterranean.
To commemorate its 10th anniversary, Orobianco has planned an extensive calendar that includes four and six-hands dinners in collaboration with other top chefs. On April 13, 2025, Orobianco will host a *four-hands dinner with El Poblet (2)**. This exclusive event, featuring a ten-course menu priced at €180 per guest, will highlight the most creative dishes from both establishments, such as El Poblet’s iconic Cañas y Barro and Orobianco’s sea urchin curd with artichoke, yuzu, and butter.
Orobianco will also participate in a six-hands dinner on May 18, 2025, alongside Audrey’s Restaurant (1)* and *Beat Restaurant (1)**, uniting Italian, Mediterranean, and French influences.
Orobianco is also focusing on expanding its influence in Spain. The restaurant group recently acquired Teatro Kitchen & Bar in Barcelona, which also has a Michelin star under Chef Oliver Peña. Going forward, Teatro will be under the direction of Paolo Casagrande and will maintain its current team.
The 10th anniversary celebration will take place on June 17th, 2025, and the Orobianco team says to expect plenty of exclusive surprises both inside and outside of the kitchen. In September of 2025, Orobianco will also have an exclusive four-hands dinner in Italy, in collaboration with UNE (1)* in Capodacqua.
