Sofartcafé is Sofartcafé! This is a different kind of chill out experience that combines relaxing with a coffee alongside enjoying cultural events every week. You will find it in the centre of town but it is set on a mellow street, away from the cars and the crowds. Check out the library where you can enjoy photography, designer & illustrated books, recipes, and more. Upstairs, you will find a modern art and photography exhibition gallery with local and international artists on display. They also organise photography workshops, theatre events and sometimes live acoustic music nights. Downstairs, you’ll also find a private sala for meetings, business groups and more…

This is so much more than just a glorified library and local hang-out, it’s a cosmopolitan meeting point for cultures. If you are looking for quality food and great wine, you have come to the right place. You’ll find excellent products from Italy, including gourmet specialities. Enjoy anything from aperitifs to ‘theme suppers’, cheese and wine-tasting nights. Every week has a different menu on offer with a specialised Italian cafeteria offering alternative and original choices like ‘Caffe Terzi’ and tea tastings. There is also a children’s play area so families are most welcome. Indeed, they organise workshops for children.

Sofartcafé is a warm, cosy and friendly place with a good few nooks and crannies and different spaces to suit your tastes. This relatively new space is just a stone’s throw from the Mercado Central.
