24/7 VALENCIA:  What is the philosophy of KHAMBÚ?

KHAMBU: ‘Khambú’ was born in Valencia as a vegan fast food restaurant. We have a great commitment to sustainability. You will find a variety of dishes that will surprise you regarding their texture, taste, smell, colour & appearance. All of this at a price that is affordable with very reasonable options and accessible to all pockets…

Our main purpose is to make known the philosophy of vegan life. As far as food is concerned, no products of an animal origin of any kind are used.

We have eliminated plastics, which are replaced by compostable materials such as paper or reusable as glass. We have innovated with our edible containers for delicious salads. We provide quality products, with hard work and enthusiasm from our team, so that our customers have an excellent dining experience.

What are your specialties?
In Khambú you can find a wide variety of burgers, fries, crunchy sweet potatoes, nachos with guacamole and vegan cheese, wraps, original appetizers such as ‘Aros del Mar’ reminiscent of traditional squid. Enjoy our Quorn nuggets, which have mycoproteins of great nutritional value.  Our ‘Heura’ skewers also have excellent nutritional properties that surprises everyone who tastes them because of their great resemblance to chicken and other delicious snacks to share. We also have a variety of irresistible desserts that are homemade without dairy products, eggs or any other animal derivatives. They are suitable for people with allergies, even gluten-free and vegan desserts, something usually quite hard to find.

Do you have a specific type of public?
By offering cheap prices, taking into account the quality and size of the rations, our audience is very broad although it is mainly a young audience, with growing concerns such as the state of the animals, the sustainability of the resources we use on the planet, health care and more. The older people who come along and dare to try it then congratulate us for the pleasant surprise they get. Many families with children come to the restaurant or come to buy food to go. Parents are very happy knowing that their children are eating more vegetable products and are happier than if they went to another traditional fast food restaurant. Children also enjoy ‘Khambú’ a lot because there are flavours and textures similar to those they already know.
