Tom Jones is coming to Valencia on the 23rd of June to perform in the Plaza de Toros! The acclaimed Welsh singer, composer and musician will be coming to Valencia this coming Sunday to put on a brilliant show. This unique concert, along with Tom’s unmatched energy and charisma, means that it’s bound to be an unforgettable night.

Sir Tom Jones rose to fame in the 60s, and has regularly toured since. Jones’ musical range varies from R&B and country to soul, dance and gospel, and he is known for his top hits such as ‘What’s New Pussycat?’, ‘It’s Not Unusual’ and ‘She’s a Lady’. His connection to Valencia stretches  way back to 1975 when he first played here, in the final days of the dictatorship, not long before Franco died.

Throughout his career, Sir Tom Jones has received many awards. He was made an ‘Officer of the Order of the British Empire’ (OBE) in 1998 and was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2006 for his services to music. In the 2010s, Tom experienced resurgence in popularity due to his appearance in The Voice UK and his role as coach on the talent show.

Jones recently became the oldest man to achieve the No. 1 stop on the UK Official Albums Chart with an album of new material with the release of his album “Surrounded By Time” in 2021.
