Baleària celebrates the first Hashtag Challenge of the Spanish tourism sector on TikTok

##The shipping company, a pioneer in using this innovative advertising format, invites the TikTok community to imagine their perfect summer. The challenge #ElVeranoEsNuestro will be available from today for all TikTok users in Spain.

The shipping company Baleària (@Balearia) debuts on TikTok, the leading platform for mobile videos in short format, with the Hashtag Challenge #ElVeranoEsNuestro, in line with its summer campaign. Through this activation, which will be available from today, Baleària becomes the first company in the tourism industry in Spain to bet on this advertising format, which allows the community to be involved, through the videos of users who respond to the challenge by sharing their creations.

The aim of this campaign is to encourage users to show their ideal summer with personal photos and videos they have on their smartphone to the rhythm of the song ‘Mediterrània’, by the Valencian group La Fúmiga, a band linked to the cultural programme of the Baleària Foundation. Among all participants, two double tickets will be raffled to any of the destinations that the shipping company connects with the Balearic Islands.

Baleària, as part of its digital marketing and communication strategy, has decided to enter this entertainment platform with the aim of approaching the TikTok community with more emotional content that reflects the values of its brand. The shipping company, which has had a presence on different digital content platforms for more than 10 years, hopes to connect with a wider audience, which will allow it to raise awareness of its shipping services.
