DAMA IBÉRICA (VALENCIA)

‘Dama Ibérica’ is the name given to a sculpture by artist Manolo Valdés and is to be found at the intersection of Avenida de las Cortes Valencianas and Calle la Safor in the Valencian district of Benicalap in Valencia. The monument is a tribute to the ‘Dama de Elche.’  It measures 18m high and is made of more than 20,000 small pieces…in cobalt blue.
