DELESTE MUSIC FESTIVAL IN VALENCIA FROM MAY 19 TO MAY 21!

The Deleste festival in Valencia will return to the city for the 11th time,  starting Friday 19 May through to Sunday 21 May. Deleste Festival 2023 will feature a lineup of international, national and emerging local groups performing over the course of three days in Valencia’s beautiful Jardins del Vivers.

The festival will last the entire weekend, with different acts performing each day, one after the other. It will feature notorious international artists like the American rock group The Dandy Warhols. The alternative band who gained fame after their success with the song ‘Bohemian Like You’ and worked closely with David Bowie in the early 2000s will grace the stage on 20 May in Valencia to give a nostalgic performance.

The festival also features national names like León Benavente, DePedro and the band Dorian, a Spanish group from Barcelona known for their rock, indie and electronic genre combination. As always, Deleste Festival will also feature up-and-coming groups from the local scene, such as Los Invaders and Semana Santa. Los Invaders is a local band from Valencia who play, what they refer to, as the energetic genre of ‘space rock’ or ‘future rock’. Semana Santa is equally an upcoming band in Valencia who are emerging into the national scene.

Deleste is not only a festival with amazingly talented artists from across the globe and from Valencia itself but has a unique twist. Deleste provides a space to enjoy the music without crowds, overlapping schedules or a sense of urgency that festivals so often have. According to their website, the festival was created to give the guests a unique experience in which they are the sole focus of the event. The consecutive performances allow the audience to immerse themselves into each artist separately and take time to wholly experience each band. The aim is to make spectators feel more relaxed, at ease and to truly enjoy the performances.

There will also be food available to purchase during the festival, plus a morning session for children from 12pm to 4pm on Sunday 21 May that includes workshops, face painting, games and more. Tickets are available for purchase in advance online using the link below.
