FLAMENCO WITH ‘DUQUENDE’ @PALAU DE LES ARTS, VALENCIA (NOV 28th)

##Les Arts és Flamenco

Duquende’s pure singing stars in the second session of the cycle ‘Les Arts és Flamenco.’
. The pure singing of Juan Cortés, ‘Duquende’, is the protagonist of the second session of the cycle ‘Les Arts és Flamenco’, which takes place this Saturday, November 28, at the Teatre Martín i Soler, at 21.00h.

After the visit of one of the most mediatic figures of the flamenco genre as José Mercé, Les Arts continues with its commitment to show the public the different perspectives and aspects of the cante jondo along the 2020-2021 season.

Discovered by Camarón de La Isla when he was only eight years old and heir to the tradition of the mythical genius of flamenco, Duquende is one of the most respected figures of flamenco singing, with a long solo career and a strong personality.

As an artist, the cantaor from Sabadell claims the purity of flamenco without fundamentalism, considers that no fusion is necessary to be a modern cantaor and therefore states that “the purer the cante, the more modern it is”.

In his first performance at Les Arts, Duquende will be accompanied on guitar by one of the most inspired players of the new generation, Diego del Morao.

Les Arts reminds that tickets for Duquende’s concert have a unique price of 30 euros. For more information, those interested can consult the theatre’s website www.lesarts.com
