##Wednesday 26th of May brought about the Sagittarius Full Moon. It was known as a “blood moon” due to its reddish colour and was a total lunar eclipse. This moon has significant spiritual meaning and is related to morals and ethics, it was claimed to cause a test of faith due to greed, excess and immorality.

Viktoria or https://www.instagram.com/flowwithviktoria/ hosted a gentle “yogadance” flow with guided meditation. Yogadance is a combination of Tantra and Integral yoga with different ethnic dance techniques, free dance, sacred dance and holistic therapies.

The night began with us meeting in Turia Gardens, at a quiet spot around the middle of the park. Viktoria greeted us all and thanked us for coming, we set down our mats and Viktoria lay out some fairy lights in a warm white and red colour, to represent the “blood moon”. She then lit an incense stick and began to play music as we took our places. We all were asked to choose a number and then were given a crystal that our numbers represented. Viktoria applied essential oils to our wrists and then began the flow. We started with some slow stretches and breathing techniques, whilst Viktoria guided us into a relaxing meditative state. We then began to incorporate more movement and dance to our bodies. Following this we did a few cycles of the Moon Salutation, facing towards the Full Moon. Viktoria shared plenty of knowledge and guiding words of encouragement. We finished with shavasana to encourage reflection and calmness of the mind.

Viktoria has a warm and calming presence. From the beginning of the session until we said goodbye, I felt safe and respected.
