Until the end of the month of November 2020, Hard Rock Cafe Valencia will offer the burger COME BURGUETHER, through which funds will be allocated to the foundation ANAR, on the occasion of World Children’s Day to be celebrated on November 20. The recipe for the solidarity burger was designed by Valencian chef Pablo Ministro, Restaurant Director of Palau De Les Arts – Contrapunto Restaurante and Executive Chef of Gourmet Catering & Spaces. 10€ of each hamburger will go to the foundation.

During the charity campaign, the ANAR foundation will also offer weekly (every Thursday) talks for families, which aim to help parents improve their children’s well-being. The theme of these talks will be varied from: how to accompany our children in times of uncertainty, positive parenting, responsible use of new technologies and many more contents of interest to families. The entrance fee will be 20€ of which 10€ will go to the foundation. The ticket will also include a tasting of starters and drinks. All the programming will be available on the social networks of Hard Rock Cafe Valencia @hrcvalencia

In addition, only during the month of November, children up to 10 years can eat for free at Hard Rock Cafe Valencia with the promotion that accompanies the campaign: a free children’s menu with any adult main course, applicable from Monday to Sunday.

David Carmona, the Executive Director and General Manager of Food and Moments Group, the franchiser of Hard Rock Cafe Valencia, highlighted:“In these times of uncertainty, it is necessary to join forces and contribute to such an important cause as the protection of children’s rights. We are proud to be able to contribute our grain of sand to support the ANAR foundation in its great work to assist thousands of children and adolescents who are now more vulnerable than ever”. In addition, the General Director of Hard Rock Cafe Valencia, Leandro Dos Santos, has stressed “We thank Chef Pablo Ministro for his collaboration in this initiative, it is essential to raise awareness and give maximum visibility to the importance of the cause and the efforts of the foundation”.

For her part, Teresa Martinez Peral, Director of the Delegation of the Valencian Community of the ANAR Foundation, has thanked the initiative “From ANAR Comunidad Valenciana Foundation we want to thank Hard Rock Cafe Valencia and the chef Pablo Ministro for their commitment to children and adolescents precisely in this month when we celebrate the universal day of their rights. During this hard stage of the pandemic, confinement, difficulties in accessing education, to relate or play, children and adolescents have suffered especially. In many homes, precisely where children should be more protected, many children in our environment have experienced circumstances of lack of protection and violation of their rights: they have been victims of physical and psychological abuse, abandonment and negligence in their care, sexual abuse, gender violence, cyber-bullying…; they have also suffered, and still suffer, psychological problems related to fear, mourning, anxiety… for all of them, the ANAR Foundation has been available through its Help Lines (Telephone and CHAT) 24 hours a day, every day, to provide them with psychological orientation, facilitate the support of public social and legal services, and intervene directly with them when their integrity has been in danger. More than 30,000 requests for help were attended to in 2019 alone in the entire Valencian Community, in which we have worked in coordination with the child protection services of the Valencian Community for their correct resolution, and which have opened up the child and adolescent protection system to these children who would have had it much more difficult without our work”.
