If you absolutely love food, especially tortillas, then you will most definitely find your people here. On Monday, March 9th, the Spanish restaurant brand, La Martinuca, will open in València, marking its 6th and newest dine-in restaurant in the country. Visit ‘La Martinuca’ on International Tortilla Day to celebrate its opening and honour an internationally treasured food.
This opening is important for the future of ‘La Martinuca’ and for further expansion of the brand. After ending 2025 with 7.3 million in turnover and positive EBITDA, they are successfully moving forward to continue producing quality food and service. Sitting within Plaça de Cánovas del Castillo, in a restaurant space previously filled by the iconic Cánovas Brewery, the new La Martinuca location proves to be extremely central. Just next to Jardí del Túria and only a 15 minutes’ walk from Plaça de l’Ajuntament, no matter the distance it will be worth your time.
In observance of International Tortilla Day, La Martinuca is not only opening a new space but dropping three new items onto the menu. Each of these launches speaks for the different ways a tortilla is meant to be enjoyed.
The Zucchini tortilla – A fresh, balanced take without compromising the house’s characteristic juiciness.
The Chistorra tortilla – Intensified smoky flavour referencing northern tradition.
The Cheese and candied onion tortilla – A creamy cheese combo made to deepen an onion palate, with just a twinge of syrupy goodness.
Executive chef Pelayo Llavona states, “Consistency is key: we seek that each customer recognizes the product from the first bite.” You’re sure to savour the taste and enjoy your time with La Martinuca when you dine in or order delivery through Glovo.
