The VISOR FEST 2026 programme continues to grow with two top-tier additions that reinforce the international, historical, and emotional character of the lineup. After announcing RIDE, Ocean Colour Scene (30th Anniversary of Moseley Shoals), New Model Army, The Wannadies, Gene (exclusive Spain date), and Hoodoo Gurus, the festival now adds Manic Street Preachers and The Damned, who arrive in the midst of celebrating their 50th anniversary, marking half a century since the birth of punk in the United Kingdom.
With this new announcement, season tickets change tiers and go up to €79 (€68 for minors), consolidating an edition that continues to gain weight and personality. Visor Fest remains true to its essence: complete concerts, without overlaps, without a front stage, and with a sound quality that places the musical experience at the centre. A festival where each performance is experienced with intensity, closeness, and without artifice.

Manic Street Preachers: Anthems, Identity, and Legacy
From Wales to the world, Manic Street Preachers are one of the most influential and iconic bands in contemporary British rock. With 15 studio albums and a career spanning more than three decades, they have built their own sound universe in which the epic nature of classic rock, the urgency of punk, and a deeply recognizable lyrical identity coexist. Since their debut with Generation Terrorists (1992), the Manics have developed a career marked by artistic ambition and coherence, accumulating awards and recognitions – including BRIT Awards, NME Awards, and Ivor Novellos – and consolidating a global fan base. Their repertoire is a succession of generational anthems: from “Motorcycle Emptiness” or “You Love Us” to the number one hit “If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next” or the emblematic “A Design for Life.” In recent years, they have continued to expand their legacy with new works such as Critical Thinking (2025), demonstrating that their creative capacity remains intact.Manic Street Preachers – If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next (Official Video): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cX8szNPgrEs
The Damned: 50 Years of Making History
If there is a band that can boast of having changed history, it is The Damned. Formed in London in 1976, they were the first British punk group to release a single (“New Rose”) and also the first to release an album, getting ahead of an entire generation and marking the beginning of a musical revolution that is now 50 years old. Far from remaining in that initial impact, The Damned have evolved over the decades, expanding their sound into darker and more sophisticated territories, also becoming a key reference in gothic rock. Their legacy is based both on their songs and on an irreverent and free artistic attitude that remains intact. In this context of celebration, the band recently released Not Like Everybody Else (January 2026), a deeply personal album of covers dedicated to the memory of Brian James, founding guitarist and essential figure in their beginnings. Recorded in just five days in Los Angeles, the album recovers the raw energy of their early years and brings together a very special line-up with Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, the return of Rat Scabies, along with Paul Gray and Monty Oxymoron. Adding to this new chapter is the good creative moment that the band is going through: in 2023 they released Darkadelic, their twelfth studio album, which reached the Top 10 in the United Kingdom, confirming that their relevance is still fully valid.
Live, Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies and Paul Gray will tour their legacy combining classics from albums like Machine Gun Etiquette, The Black Album or Strawberries with essential anthems like “Neat Neat Neat” and “New Rose”, fundamental pieces in the history of punk. The presence of The Damned at Visor Fest will thus be much more than a concert: it will be the celebration of half a century of music, attitude and legacy, with a band that not only lived through the birth of punk, but also decisively contributed to defining it.
