‘NINO BRAVO’ EXHIBITION IN VALENCIA UNTIL OCTOBER 29th!

This unique exhibition at the ‘Ateneo Mercantil’ coincides with the 50th anniversary of Nino Bravo’s death. ‘Nino Bravo, the exhibition’ has the collaboration of the artist’s family; the Nino Bravo Museum, ‘Destino Nino’ as well as the Town Councils of Valencia and Nino’s birthplace of ‘Aielo de Malferit’. In addition to displaying the most precious objects from the ‘Museo Nino Bravo’ itself, the exhibition will feature never-before-seen pieces on loan from private collectors.The exhibition will remain open in the ‘Salón Noble’ of  ‘Ateneo Mercantil’ until  October 29th. The Ateneo Mercantil of Valencia will host the largest exhibition of Nino Bravo of this scale in the city of Valencia.

Objects that will be loaned exclusively for this temporary exhibition and that have never been shown before, such as the last microphone, for example, that the singer wielded in a performance on TVE in February 1973. These pieces will be added to others of great professional and sentimental value, such as the Valencian artist’s unreleased discography released in Latin America, not in Spain, as well as the awards he received; costumes and suits he used in different concerts and in songs  such as ‘Libre’; personal belongings of great value, posters of his tours, photographs or unpublished videos.

“The exhibition values the artistic and historical importance of Nino Bravo for Valencia and Spain, and shows us his evolution as a singer and legend via hundreds of objects”, stresses Darío Ledesma, curator of ‘Nino Bravo. The exhibition’ and official biographer of the late singer.

Opening times and prices: ‘Nino Bravo, the exhibition’ will open its doors to the public until October 29th and will remain open every day from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm. The price for the general public on weekdays is 6 euros, with reduced admission of 4 euros for pensioners, members of the Ateneo and children from 8 years old. For children up to the age of 7, admission is free. The price for weekends is 7 euros, with reduced admission of 5 euros for retired persons, members of the Ateneo and children from 8 years old. Tribute Concert to Nino Bravo with his daughter Eva Ferri: The Ateneo Mercantil could not miss the opportunity to pay tribute and highlight the figure of the singer with this exhibition and, in addition,  the ‘Nino Bravo’ tribute concert  with his daughter Eva Ferri in the Ateneo Theatre on September 24th, in which Nino Bravo’s youngest daughter will sing for her father, along with Felipe Garpe and Sheila Garcia.
