TEENAGE FANCLUB are returning  to Spain in October with a sold-out tour and Euros Childs as special guest! The Scottish band arrives with their new album, Do Not Dare To Dream, to be released on October 9th through Merge Records They will tour twelve cities between October 4th and 17th, with Euros Childs as a special guest on all dates except San Fernando and Zaragoza. Teenage Fanclub will begin an extensive twelve-concert Spanish tour on October 4th in San Fernando (Cádiz), traveling through some of the country’s main cities and culminating on October 17th in Barcelona, consolidating a relationship with the Spanish public that has continued to grow over recent decades.

Euros Childs will be the tour’s special guest, accompanying Teenage Fanclub on all dates except San Fernando and Zaragoza. Childs is a figure especially linked to the band: in addition to a prolific solo career, he is currently a member of Teenage Fanclub, where he plays keyboards and sings, and has participated in their last three studio albums. The tour will also coincide with an especially important moment for the group. On October 9th, in the midst of the Spanish tour, Teenage Fanclub will release Do Not Dare To Dream, their new album through Merge Records. The record marks a new chapter in the trajectory of a band that, after nearly four decades of career, continues to compose, record, and tour without turning its past into an exercise in nostalgia.

The album has already been teased with three singles: ‘Day In The Sun’, ‘Be with you tonite’ and ‘There Was You’, which offer a glimpse into a work that keeps intact some of the traits that have made Teenage Fanclub one of the most recognizable bands in the British alternative scene: memorable melodies, guitars, vocal harmonies, and an extraordinary sensitivity for writing songs that endure.

The arrival of Do Not Dare To Dream will be especially significant within the context of this tour: the Spanish audience will be able to hear the new songs just a few days after the album’s release and, at the same time, reconnect with a band whose bond with our country goes back a long way.
