THE LEGENDARY ‘LISBOA RESTOBAR’ IN THE HISTORIC CENTRE OF VALENCIA (EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW)

24/7 VALENCIA: Tell us about the history and philosophy of Lisboa Restobar…

LISBOA RESTOBAR: After seeing a film ‘In the White City’ about Lisbon and visiting the capital of Portugal, the charm and similarity with Valencia in the relationship between cities and the sea was appreciated; hence the definition of our logo, the boat referring to the link between the two cities with the sea and the Micalet tower, making reference to the heart of Valencia.

What was ‘Café Lisboa’  is now ‘Lisboa Restobar’ and has always been distinguished by our multicultural attitude, with the presentations of books, talks, with exhibitions of all kinds by altruistically lending our walls to artists and photographers. Given the charm of the place we have collaborated in the filming of advertising spots, video clips, short films, etc…

24/7 Valencia: Could you describe to us the tapas and drinks that we can enjoy…

From the new location in Plaza Doctor Collado (that is to say the most recent since we are here since 1995), we started with a gastronomic offer that, over time, has truly developed into a tasty selection of daily choices. This includes salads, tapas, dishes, sandwiches, burgers from morning to night. Not forgetting our cocktail menu, in which we offer a good range from the modern Spritz… through to the traditional mojito and our special ‘Agua de Valencia.’ We specialize in Mediterranean cuisine quality product, with vegetables from the Central Market, fresh fish that our distributors bring us daily, dishes created with some love & positivity, we encourage everyone to come and try our cuisine…without forgetting the cocktails that we continue to offer and including new ones!
