Nearly 200 “Hubbers” of various nationalities learned to make the most “Spanish” dish and participated in games inspired by Valencia! The Terminal Hub celebrated Fallas with its community as part of the Driving Change cycle, hosting a Fallas gastronomic gathering that brought together almost 200 “Hubbers” of different nationalities on the Turia multi-purpose terrace, a privileged space located just a few feet from the sea. Valencian gastronomy, creativity, and the Fallas spirit came together in a festive and participatory event.

The event unfolded in a fully Fallas atmosphere, with ambient music, firecrackers, and a festive vibe that accompanied the entire experience. Attendees enjoyed a master class on rice dishes led by Juan Torres, executive chef of Front, The Terminal Hub’s Mediterranean restaurant, who led a live showcooking alongside Dani Felipe Herrero, a rice specialist from the Maravella team. During the demonstration, between eight and ten paellas were prepared live, including a traditional Valencian paella and a cuttlefish and red prawn rice dish.

To participate, attendees had to wear a personalized Fallas scarf and enjoy various team games inspired by Valencian culture, with questions related to the city, its traditions, and its gastronomy, creating a relaxed atmosphere and connection between professionals from different sectors.

Among the attendees were representatives from companies and organizations such as IBM, IE, companies from the Chamber of Commerce Club, Zubi Group, Foener, and WAM, among other members of the innovative and business ecosystem that is part of The Terminal Hub community.

Maravella, a newly opened rice restaurant located between the Albufera and the sea, shares the same philosophy as Front, making it easy to cook paellas together. Both share a gastronomic concept that aims to reinterpret Mediterranean cuisine with a contemporary approach, open to the sea, with local products, as well as rice dishes and recipes designed to be shared in a creative and casual environment that connects gastronomy, culture, and innovation. Many of the products come from their own garden and go directly to the kitchen.

The celebration became an experience that united Valencian tradition, the business community, and creativity, consolidating The Terminal Hub as a meeting point where there is also room to enjoy local culture and gastronomy.
