##Can you tell us how your interest in film began? Through music. I first loved the soundtracks and then realized that the whole process interested me. I think film-making is a very musical work, and I love it.
What is your “BIP” webseries about? It’s about a girl who works at a supermarket and how she imagines the lives of the customers based on what they buy. It’s fast, dynamic and full of different colours and tones. There are 8 episodes of 3 minutes and each one is centered around a new client.
Do you get your inspiration from real life situations? Absolutely. Especially for “Bip” which is about people and characters that you meet everyday. Sometimes, I even have family or friends who recognize themselves in a character that I create.
Tell us more about the prize that you won at Cinema Jove…I’m very grateful and happy that “Bip” won the main prize “Luna de Valencia” for best webseries and also a special mention from the jury for “Best Directing”. It means a lot, given the great competition and prestigious jury members.
What was your impression of Valencia? I love the city. The architecture is stunning and you can tell that culture is a big deal. The beach is impressive and the food is super good.
Do you have any plans to make a feature film in the future? Yes. I always look to get out of my comfort zone and take on big challenges. So, I think it’s time for a long format. I’m currently developing a film about poker that should be an international production. I’m also the showrunner on a long format TV series by RTS (Swiss TV) and that we’ve been writing for six months.
