##3.14 has several equivalent meanings. A mathematical constant that never ends and never settles…in a pattern of permanent repetition. It is the number associated with ‘Pi’. This musical project brings the concept 3.14 to the world of modal music, giving it a new definition.

The project began in September 2018 with Efrén López, Ciro Montanari and Jordi Prats, three musicians who decided to unite different types of modal music languages, while maintaining the tradition of some old compositions taken from their masters. The richness of the different musical cultures of the project inspired them to also follow a new path: Video art.

This is a unique musical opportunity to feel the magical connection between some of the most valued instruments of the Middle East and India. Days, years, even centuries are reflected via the different pieces of music… reflecting a huge range of emotions.

‘3.14’ will be playing three concerts this summer in the Valencia region!
