Following the launch of the first and second kits for the 2021-2022 season in July, PUMA and VALENCIA CF reinterpret the club’s identity with innovative and bold designs for the third and fourth kits. The new uniforms are a challenge to convention with a design inspired by a mix of soccer culture and urban fashion… that transcends culture and urban fashion that pushes the boundaries of convention. The result is a striking reinvention with a very distinctive approach regarding the new kits.
Thus, the ‘Legacy Kit’ is presented with some very relevant changes in a refreshing combination of Blue Lemonade and Vibrant Orange, two colours that make reference to the Mediterranean culture as part of the club’s DNA in away matches. The relocation of the shield is to the back of the jersey, moving it to the back of the shirt and under the collar. The shield’s characteristic bat is still present in the shirt’s print through a tonal repeating graphic engraved on the fabric. Another important new feature, and one of the most striking characteristics of this design, is the placement of the club’s name on the chest, centered and with a personalized font.
This new kit was unveiled at an exclusive international launch organized by PUMA, which also saw the unveiling of the club’s jerseys. Also unveiled were the third kit shirts of AC Milan, Manchester City, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Manchester City, Olympique de Marseille, Stade Rennais FC, Shakhtar Donetsk, Fenerbahce FC, Stade Rennais FC, Krasnodar and PSV Eindhoven. The print engraved on the front of the shirt is inspired by the architectural structures of the Mestalla stadium, a unique icon for the club and the city.
