For 49 years, the Spanish Federation of Cultural Clubs and Casinos (FECCC) has held a gathering for the cultural clubs of Spain. This year, Valencia’s Casino de Agricultura, also known as the Royal Valencian Society of Agriculture and Sports (RSVAD), hosted the assembly.
Attended by FECCC’s president, Francisco Jáuregui Acuña, and the president of the RSVAD, Manuel Sánchez Luengo, the assembly was the perfect opportunity for those in these groups to experience Valencia’s most popular attractions. The Agricultural Casino, from June 5th to the 7th, will be showing those in more than 15 Spanish cultural clubs who have come to the assembly sites like City Hall, the Silk Exchange, and the Cathedral, which houses the Holy Grail. Additionally, they will experience true Valencian paella and take a boat ride in the lagoon of La Albufera.
With a packed schedule, those who attend will be part of the annual experience of strengthening the bonds between all of the regions of Spain that are represented, including Seville, Bilbao, Madrid, Segovia, Cordoba, Mallorca, Alcoy, La Coruña, Burgos, Ibiza, Castellón, and more.
Especially considering the political and cultural influence of the RSVAD, this is an event that is hosted with intentionality and a continued desire for the communities of Spain to be connected in their heritage, while experiencing and learning more about Valencia.
