‘VIPS’ OPENS A NEW RESTAURANT IN VALENCIA, IN THE CENTRALLY LOCATED CALLE SAN VICENTE MÁRTIR!

The new ‘VIPS’ restaurant is located on the busy Calle San Vicente Mártir, 24, and is the 17th restaurant in the autonomous community and the 12th in Valencia. With this opening, 44 new jobs have been created in the Valencian capital. On 17 January 2024, all the proceeds will go to the ‘Promoting school success’ project of the Red Cross in Valencia.  The well-known restaurant brand VIPS, part of the ALSEA group, has opened a new restaurant in Valencia, located on the busy Calle San Vicente Mártir, 24, one of the longest urban routes in the capital. It is an opening with a cause, the total proceeds of which will go to the Red Cross ‘School Success’ project on 17 January.

This opening comes just in time for Valencians to enjoy delicious Christmas pancakes in the heart of the city centre. In addition, VIPS’ gastronomic choices, with a wide variety of unique and distinctive dishes, is positioned as a kitchen that is open at all hours of the day, as the opening hours will be from 9.00h to 23.30h from Monday to Friday. The new premises present the modern image that the brand is implementing in its establishments, which can be seen in its almost 400 m2 spread over two floors.  This atmosphere, which reflects the brand’s personality, accommodates 160 people inside and is complemented by a terrace with capacity for 10 diners.

To whet the appetite and to present itself properly, the inauguration event featured an attractive and very Valencian initiative: The mascletá, accompanied by a balloon event for children. In addition, the ribbon cutting was performed by a representative of the Falla Avenida de la Plata La Señera dressed as a fallera together with two Dolçaineros who enlivened the event with their music.

“We are especially excited about this opening, as the new establishment occupies a prominent place in one of the liveliest streets in the capital and VIPS is now also part of this leisure and gastronomic scene for Valencians”, says Paco Páez, general manager of VIPS.

A VIPS ‘Opening with a Cause’ in collaboration with the Red Cross

The inauguration of this new establishment is an ‘Opening with a Cause’, as part of VIPS’ commitment to social responsibility and its “Very Capable” programme, which aims to generate a positive impact on the communities in which it is present, with a special focus on the most vulnerable groups.

The new VIPS in the municipality will donate the entire proceeds to the Red Cross, to the “Promoting school success” project, which aims to influence those personal and environmental factors that influence the schooling process of children and adolescents, facilitating their access to services and resources that help improve their school performance. In this way, more than 300 children between the ages of 6 and 17 in the province of Valencia are supported in situations of vulnerability.

“The alliance and commitment of VIPS with the Red Cross will allow us to promote a key project in Valencia to promote the physical and intellectual development of the most vulnerable children, which we carry out through the Red Cross Youth volunteers,” says the provincial president of the Red Cross in Valencia, Juan José Collado.

VIPS creates 44 new jobs with this opening

The new establishment that VIPS has just opened has 392m2 of premises with capacity for 160 people and will create 44 jobs in the city. Here, diners will be able to enjoy the extensive menu, from the VIPS Atypical Dishes, such as Iberian prey with pistachio chimichurri, Iberian meatballs with curry or carbonara with Soria bacon, to the new limited edition pancakes for Christmas such as pancakes with Chips Ahoy®, Red Velvet pancakes or pancakes with Nocilla ®.
