Pianist Miguel Rodríguez is active on the Dutch jazz scene, both as leader of his own band and his own trio – selected for the Young VIP’s Tour in 2014 – and with many other outstanding bands: Ben Van Den Dungen Quartet, The Benjamin Herman Quartet, Maarten Hogenhuis Quartet and the successful musical production “New York Round Midnight”.

Likewise, he has performed with the JOC (Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw), Powerhouse Big Band with Marius Beets, Bob Sands Big Band, Alain Pérez Latin-jazz Band, BvR Flamenco Big Band (Flamenco Biennale 2015), and has collaborated with US musicians such as Branford Marsalis, Donald Harrison, the Willie Jones III Quintet, Peter Bernstein, Terell Stafford or Deborah Brown.
He has performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival in 2009 with the Big Band directed by Maria Schneider, in 2012 with the Benjamin Herman Quartet, and in 2014 with the Ben van den Dungen Quartet.
He has toured throughout Europe, Russia, Thailand, Japan, Japan, Korea, Indonesia and South America.

He has been a piano professor at the Rotterdam Conservatory since September 2016. Since 2014 he participates every year in the Jazz Summer School in Korea and Indonesia, teaching piano lessons, combos and masterclasses.

Accompanying the trio as guest artist is the great Valencian saxophonist Víctor Jiménez. Completing the quartet are two solid and renowned musicians, regular collaborators with Miguel Rodriguez in Spain…the double bassist Javier Callén and veteran drummer Miguel Benito, highly appreciated in ‘Jimmy Glass’ too.
