Beautifully located facing the beach in the barrio of Cabanyal, you will find a refurbished ice factory called ‘La Fábrica de Hielo’ which boasts an eclectic range of live music & DJ events and tasty food and a wide range of drinks to enjoy! The interior combines the avant-garde with rustic minimalism. It’s a fairly artistic and somewhat cosmopolitan crowd that ranges from young people to families from around the globe.
In the evening, bright red neon signs lightly illuminate the chic warehouse well enough to make out the intentional abstract art…such as wall paintings, obscurely placed furniture, foliage and retro signs… scattered around the different sections of the former ice factory. Both music and art are portrayed in an understated yet tangible manner, whereby the more one pays attention to the smaller details the more fascinating it becomes.
