‘LAMBURGUESA’ WELCOMES LAS FALLAS WITH ‘VUELVE LA MASCLET’ THIS SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25TH!

This Saturday, February 25th from 10am to 8pm at the Parc d’Esplai de Bétera, ‘Lamburguesa’ and Uber Eats join together to host a spectacular festival, raising money for the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (AECC) (Spanish Association Against Cancer). This festival takes place for the second year in a row, bringing live music, a giant paella, mascletàs, a children’s area, food trucks and of course… dozens of Masclet hamburgers by ‘Lamburguesa’.

If you haven’t had the chance to try a ‘Masclet’ burger yet, you’re in luck because it is coming back! This special edition dish is only available during specific days. From 1st to 5th March, the burger will be limited to delivery via Uber Eats. However, from 5th March onwards, it can be tasted in ‘Lamburguesa’ restaurants! Either this Saturday or once it officially is out in March, this is a ‘must-try’, unique meal. The ‘Masclet’ recipe is full of Valencian essence, made 100% with local products. It is a concoction of Longaniza sausage meat and black pudding paste, field beans and tender garlic; accompanied by cheese from Maestrazgo de Castellón and a base of artisan Valencian ratatouille. All these delicious ingredients are packed inside a delicious homemade pumpkin bread, giving reference to the classic buñuelo of Las Fallas.

So why not try the burger this weekend at the Parc d’Esplai de Bétera? ‘Vuelve La Masclet’ is a party to remember as well as an ideal prelude to the infamous Valencian fiesta Las Fallas. With only €6, you can enter the festival with two drinks, one Masclet burger and one plate of Valencian paella – a deal you cannot miss out on. All other drinks and extras are reasonably priced. The festival’s turnover goes towards the AECC charity, so it is an excellent way to begin your Fallas celebrations! Their perfectly fitting slogan #cuestapocoayudarmucho translates to ‘it costs little to help a lot’.

This event full of activities is for all ages to ensure no-one gets bored. From early in the morning until late in the afternoon, there is live music; a DJ car provided by Red Bull, bands playing throughout lunch and performances by the group Karana and the orchestra Fibra. Fireworks and mascletàs will ensure you experience the best introduction to Fallas. Comedian Miki Dkai from Cadiz will perform a humorous monologue while the little ones can enjoy the children’s area and entertainment.

After previously hosting 2,000 people, ‘Vuelve La Masclet’ avoids possible travel issues by changing the location and expanding the capacity. They provide easy parking in the vicinity of the enclosure but there will also be a parking available in front of the cemetery of Bétera and a shuttle bus taking you to the entrance of the event.
