This original proposal will have a reduced capacity of 150 people and all the necessary hygienic and sanitary measures

The Centre del Carme will host the first edition of the cycle Concerts ‘Desde La Cama’ next Thursday 12th November. An initiative launched by ‘Cero en conducta’ and ‘Vibra Mahou’, which joins this celebration to facilitate quality meetings connected to live music. The performances will be given by two representatives of the bedroom pop sound; the Romanian-born Murcian Yana Zafiro and the Valencian artist Popin’love.

The concerts will take place in the museum’s Gothic cloister, where the artists will perform from their beds; a bed brought to the stage from which not only can one attend a live music concert, but also the spectator can participate in a certain way in a play, based on the intrusive and the inclusive. The cycle is based on the creation of synergies between all disciplines, giving rise to an artistic proposal that mixes music, scenery, theatre or performance. This original proposal of Zero in conduct and Vibra Mahou adapts the experience of live performances to millennial times, to enjoy the taste of “live” in a unique way.

Yana Zafiro does not understand borders or labels. In her songs she mixes Spanish and English, she walks through electronics or bedroom pop and has time to be connected with the fanzine and contemporary art scene of her city. Her first EP, ‘Mi perro se va a morir’, brings together four dazzling pieces in which she shows off her talent and cheekiness. His lyrics are full of wit, irony and post-adolescent alienation. Yana does special things, as shown in ‘Crepúsculo’, the first preview of what will be her album and comes to light this November.

Popin’love, a member of the Toxic Pop collective, is a project that emerged unwittingly as an emotional escape route. Through hyper-pop productions and verses of an abstract nature, it invites the listener to a toxic auditory experience.

The performances of Yana Zafrio and Popin’love will be followed by Jazzboy and Casero concerts on December 17th. For their part, Mori, Rusowsky and Laborde will be the last to get into bed at the Centre del Carme on January 15th.

Given the intimate nature of the concerts, as well as the guidelines set by the Government for the holding of shows, the capacity will be limited to 150 people seated and the minimum interpersonal distance of 1.5 metres will be guaranteed. Likewise, the use of masks will be compulsory both for access to the space and during the concerts.
