Susana Lozano’s interior design studio has been in charge of promoting the new life of the Real Sociedad Valenciana de Agricultura y Deportes, better known as the Casino de Agricultura. Located in an emblematic building in the centre of the city, it has been and will be a meeting point for the Valencian socio-economic and cultural world. The main objective of the project has been, with great respect for its members and the centenary institution, to avoid ruptures and transgressions, but to “rejuvenate” its appearance, maintaining its spirit and tradition.

To cover the aged wood, a warm and luminous stone colour has been used as the basis of the whole project. The lacquering, done with care, frames a new decoration whose main fabric is tartan. The green colours enhance the marble that highlights the different areas of the entrance and gives continuity to the intervention at the back of the restaurant and the staircase in shades of white marble and terracotta.

Colours and textures reminiscent of English clubs. The wall lights by Olé Lighting have helped to create a pleasant and sober atmosphere. A contemporary, warm, cosy and elegant ambience. An update that has been very well received by the club’s members, who have found a new entrance to the club on their return from the summer break… without losing its personality or essence.

CASINO AGRICULTURE

The Real Sociedad Valenciana de Agricultura y Deportes, better known as the Casino de Agricultura, is located in an emblematic building in the centre of the city, and has been and will continue to be a meeting point for the Valencian socio-economic and cultural world. Linked at its birth to the Real Sociedad Económica de Amigos del País, it continues with numerous cultural activities as well as having social correspondence with 60 clubs in Spain and 40 abroad. This means that if you are a member of the Casino de Agricultura de Valencia you are also a member of prestigious clubs throughout Spain and in more than 40 countries. It has private and corporate members who find a meeting point at its headquarters in C/ Comedias, as well as meeting rooms, conferences and different services.
