TRADITIONAL PUBS

BEERS & TRAVELS BAR

‘Beers & Travels Bar’ is new and set in the heart of the old town and just a stone’s throw from the legendary Torres de Serranos. This traditional pub is a logical progression from their ‘Beer & Travels’ shop in the same street, which has 350 beers to choose from and includes ‘beer holiday’ trips for groups to Belgium, Germany and the Czech Republic. Their shop is 5 years old and they are excited about their new project, which is a traditional pub located on the popular Plaza Manises.

At the pub, you will find 13 different drinks on tap, which includes beers from Ireland and ‘Maleoc’ cider from Galicia. Check out their ‘O’Hara’ Red, Pale Ale and Stout beers. Regarding bottled beer, we recommend their ‘Erdinger’ wheat beer from Germany and ‘Maredsous Abbaye Abdij’ ‘La Chouffe’ from esgarraet (cod with pepper), apple pie and more. They serve ‘tostas/bocatines’ all day which is bread with fillings like Jamon Serrano, Manchego cheese and tuna with olives. Breakfasts with coffee, juice and toast with fillings range from 2.30€ – 4.90€, depending what you choose.

Every Wednesday you are welcome to join the English-Spanish intercambio at 18.30h, run by Florida State University. This is a great place to catch live sports on their big screens, including football (Champions and La Liga), Rugby, Motor GP and Formula 1. Keep an eye out for their monthly acoustic concerts.
