Humanitarian aid with Valencia CF’s support for the Ukrainian Population

Humanitarian aid, reception and integration are the cornerstones of Valencia CF’s support for the Ukrainian population. The VCF Foundation channels collaboration through the Honorary Consulate, Together for Life, Farmamundi and the Association of Ukrainians in Valencia. Valencia CF, through the Fundació VCF, has already started to collaborate with different entities as a result of the war in Ukraine to help both the people who have decided to stay in their localities, as well as the internally displaced  Ukrainian refugees who have already arrived or are arriving in the Valencian Community.

Precisely, the general manager of the VCF Foundation, Teo Swee Wei, has received at the VCF headquarters and at Mestalla, in a working meeting, the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Valencia, Pablo Gil,  the vice-president of the Foundation Together for Life www.juntosporlavida.org , Jesús Rodríguez, and the President of the Association of Ukrainians in Valencia, Mykhaylo Petrunyak. With these three entities and a fourth, Farmamundi,  the VCF Foundation will sign a forthcoming collaboration agreement.

Foundation will sign a collaboration agreement where Valencia CF focuses its support on three lines of collaboration: humanitarian aid, especially medicines, with the invaluable work of Farmamundi; the reception of women and children, thanks to the tireless work of  of Juntos por la vida (Together for Life); and the integration of displaced minors with sporting activitie of the VCF Foundation itself.

The representatives of the three organisations present at Mestalla agreed in their thanks to Valencia CF for its support , through the VCF Foundation, in channelling the best possible way and to make visible the help that is needed both in Ukraine and for the refugees in the Valencian Community. According to the professionals of the organisations, solidarity without control is not very effective and it is best to channel the aid that is needed both in Ukraine and for the refugees in the Valencia region  through organisations that can manage it correctly.
